Yonaha Maehama beach

This white sand beach in the southwestern corner of Miyako usually leads rankings of Japan's best beaches. It stretches seven kilometers and is suited for swimming and various other water sports. The beach is also known for beautiful sunsets.

Ara Beach

Located quite apart from most other attractions, Ara Beach offers visitors an attractive and secluded beach atmosphere. It offers some good snorkeling opportunities,with a variety of sea life around a group of coral about 200 meters from the shore and a bit difficult to find.

Haemida Beach

The longest beach in Iriomote Island, about 3km away from "Toyohara", the end of the prefectural road running through Iriomote Island .The sand on the beach is fine and shallow,Collecting beautifully colored shells, oddly shaped pieces of coral, and other drifted objects.

Hatenohama

Hatenohama beach consists of three sandy beaches about 7 kilometers long and is known as " The most beautiful "uninhabited island in the East Ocean" is the sandy beach. Surrounded by emerald waters and pure white sandy beaches, you will feel as if you are in paradise.

Eef Beach

Eef Beach is a representative beach of Kume Island. Its beauty, selected as a “Best Beach 100 of Japan”, continues to attract visitors. Since the sand at the bottom of the sea continues offshore and is covered with shoals, you can walk far offshore at low tide.

Tsukigahama Beach

This beach gets its name from its perfect crescent moon shape. The real unique feature of this beach is the sand, when walked on it makes a sound and is called “crying sand.” It’s worth a trip here just for the experience of having sand scream back at you when walked on.

Ocean Expo Park

Ocean Expo Park is a sprawling multi-attraction recreational complex on the tip of the Motobu Peninsula in the north-west of Okinawa main island. Okinawa Expo Park occupies most of the area of Okinawa Commemorative National Government Park, and is administered by Okinawa Prefecture. Ocean Expo Park began life in 1976 on the site of the 1975 Okinawa International Ocean Exposition. The Exposition had been held partly in commemoration of the return of Okinawa to Japan by the United States in 1972.

Hoshisuna Beach

Hoshisuna Beach is located at the northern tip of Iriomote Island, where snorkeling is enjoyed easily.Hoshinosuna means that star-shaped sand can be seen.

Sunset Beach

The beach is a short walk down from the parking lot and offers swimming and snorkeling that is good even during low tide. Most of the beach is surrounded by a net to protect swimmers from habu jellyfish. Next to the parking lot are picnic areas and paid showers and restrooms.
