7 Days Golf & Wellness Tour to Thailand

One-third of the red of the national passion, one-third of the gold of the ancient palace, one-third of the transparent blue of Patong, this is Thailand!

Thailand is a place of friendly people, colorful traditions and beautiful scenery. It is often associated with Buddhist temples, temples, elephants, floating markets, beautiful dancing and beautiful beaches. However, we are ignoring that Thailand is also a real golf paradise, worthy of golf friends to visit Thailand to show their skills. Thailand has been voted Asia's top golf destination by Asian Golf Monthly readers for the sixth consecutive year.

Hua Hin, a coastal town in central Thailand, is about 3 hours' drive from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Known as the most traditional seaside resort in Thailand, it is a favorite summer resort for Thai royals and aristocrats.

What to Experience:

【Bangkok】

Thai Country Club: As one of the most famous courses in Thailand, apart from the 2008 Asian Tour Volvo Master, it has hosted the Honda Classic, won by Tiger. The course itself has a very Nanyang flavor, similar to Taiwan's Taifeng and Palm Lake. The sixth hole, Par 3, is said to have been named "the most beautiful Par 3 in Asia" by a magazine. The bunker sand on the side of the green is very soft and difficult. Par 4 on the tenth hole, 400 yards. Tiger hits the green with one shot. The course is also commemorated by a monument near the tee table.

Afternoon tea at The Authors' Lounge: The Writers' Lounge is known as one of the most scenic spots in Bangkok and Thailand. Originally built in 1976 as an open-air garden with a pond, the Writers' Lounge now has a glass roof and is an ideal place for afternoon tea. The newly renovated Writers' Lounge is an integral part of the hotel's superior cultural heritage, displaying brand new photographs of the many renowned authors who have stayed at the hotel over the past three centuries.

Red Sky: On the top floor of the Centara Grand at Central World in Bangkok, the colorful arc-shaped arches are the sign of Red Sky, which is connected to the Central World in Bangkok. After shopping, you can go straight to the Sky Bar for a drink. In addition, less strict dress code and more friendly consumption can be recommended to the first time to experience Sky Bar in Bangkok!!

【Hua Hin】

Black Mountain Golf Course, a five-star international class championship course, is not only a natural beauty, but also a very challenging venue on the Asian PGA Tour. Taking advantage of its original location in a secluded valley, a combination of dense jungles and pineapple plantations, the mountain is made of huge black rocks that are visible around the eighteen holes of the course ", hence the name "Black Mountain Course". It is famous for hosting the famous Royal Cup in Thailand and the Montenegro Masters, one of the Asian Tour events. It was named Best New Course in Asia in 2007, 2nd Best Course in Thailand in 2008 and 5th Best Mountain Course in Asia in the same year. Montenegro also finished fourth in the Asia Golf Monthly ranking of the best tournament courses in Asia.

Watsu Course: This passive technique is derived from Zen Shiatsu and performed in a specialised warm-water pool. The buoyancy of the water supports you, while your joints are mobilised and muscles gently stretched by a therapist. Each move flows smoothly into the next, and is coordinated with an integral rhythm that allows emotional as well as physical progression. Through deep relaxation and nurturing, the mind can find peace and freeing the body from pain or discomfort.

The Banyan Golf Club Hua Hin: Since the club opened in 2008, Banyan Tree Golf has been ranked as one of the top three courses by Golf Asia Monthly for three consecutive years. In addition, Banyan Course was ranked among the Rolex World 1000 Best Golf Courses in the World. The unique clubhouse is designed in contemporary Thai style with luxurious dressing rooms, premium club suites, bar and terrace restaurant. While offering world-class golf experience and dining facilities to every golfer and visitor who comes to the club, guests are treated to a spectacular sunset over the Burmese mountains, making for an unforgettable experience. The fairway of the course is 7,361 yards, 7 kilometers away from Hua Hin City.

Crystal and Quantum Massage: The session begins with a personal selection of crystals that assist in realigning energy for a deeper sense of calmness. The therapist then uses these crystals, along with therapeutic oil, in a gentle pressured massage to relieve muscular tension and releasing trapped emotions to bring balance to the body. The session ends with a chilled set of Quantum crystals placed over the head to release emotions and ground the life-force energy.

Hua Hin Railway Station: Built during the reign of King Rama VI, and only a short distance from the centre of town, Hua Hin's railway station and adjacent royal waiting room are undeniably attractive. The brightly painted wooden buildings that are Thai in concept and design somehow manage to have a 'Victorian' feel to them.

Cha-Am Beach: From pony rides on the beach and thrilling banana boat rides for the kids (and grown-ups!) to waterskiing, windsurfing and parasailing for adventure-seeking beach lovers, Cha-Am’s long beach offers something for everyone. If it’s a peaceful spot you’re after to bury your nose in a book, or a traditional Thai massage under a parasol, you’re easily covered too. It’s a great place to take a long stroll too – or a jog – especially at sunrise or late in the afternoon when it’s cooler. All along the beach are patches of trees fringing it (but no palms), and a humorous aspect of Cha-Am is that these are the spots where you’ll find Thai visitors, while tourists seek out the unshaded areas to bronze up. After all, a beach holiday wouldn’t be complete without a tan to show off when arriving back home.

What to Eat:

Food at Chiva-Som hotel: Nutrition is forever connected to health and well-being. The essence of our Wellness Cuisine lies in the balance of goodness and flavour. When you savour a meal at Chiva-Som, you can rest assured you’re getting only the healthiest nutrients and vitamin-rich foods that are specifically designed to further the healing benefits of your treatment.

Som Tam Pu Ma (Spicy Blue Crab Papaya Salad): Fusing the zesty som tam from the Northeast (Isan) and fresh blue crab of Hua Hin, this all-time favourite appetizer dish is not to be missed. It tastes every bit like the well-pounded som tam – an invigorating blend of spicy and sour that makes it so addictive – but with chunks of raw blue crab that you can munch on.

Kan Chiang Pu Nueng (Steamed Crab Wing): Steamed crab is the main highlight on Hua Hin’s food menu, but cracking the crab on the dining table is a messy business. Steamed crab wing is a hassle-free alternative, as it’s bite-sized, meaty and come ready-to-eat. Simply dip one in the spicy seafood sauce that comes with the dish and enjoy. This is a good starter dish.

Tom Yam Goong (Spicy Shrimp Soup): A bold, refreshing blend of fragrant lemongrass, chillies, galangal, lime leaves, shallots, lime juice and fish sauce. Tom yam is a versatile dish that goes with virtually any meal – its invigorating sour-spicy-hot taste just screams 'Thailand'!
