What to Experience:

【Bangkok】

Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), Architecturally fantastic, this temple complex is also the spiritual core of Thai Buddhism and the monarchy, symbolically united in what is the country’s most holy image, the Emerald Buddha. Attached to the temple complex is the Grand Palace, the former royal residence, once a sealed city of intricate ritual and social stratification. The ground was consecrated in 1782, the first year of Bangkok rule, and is today Bangkok’s biggest tourist attraction and a pilgrimage destination for devout Buddhists.

Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn):  locally known as Wat Chaeng, is a landmark temple on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya river. It’s easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location but also because the design is very different from the other temples you can visit in the Thai capital. Wat Arun (nicknamed the 'Temple of Dawn') is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.

Calypso Cabaret, is an entertaining show. Thailand is well known for ladyboys, and Calypso's performers are keen to entertain and put on a good show by dressing up in exquisite costumes and miming to classic songs.

【Kanchanaburi】

Hellfire Pass Museum is a railway cutting on the former Burma Railway, also commonly called the Death Railway, in Thailand. It lays in the western part of Thailand in the province of Kanchanaburi. This pass has been built with forced labour during the Second World War, mainly built by allied prisoners of war from a multitude of countries. The labour was done in harsh conditions, with heavy loss of life suffered by the prisoners of war. Hellfire Pass is so called because of the fact that the pass was light up by torchlights in the night, which made the prisoners working in these harsh conditions in the night with the red light shining on them visually resembling Hell.

Boat ride on the River Kwai, enjoy the amazing sights as we cruise along the River Kwai at a leisurely pace. Take the time to absorb all the scenery and wildlife as well as local traditional fishing boats and rafts along the way. A “truly” unique Thailand adventure.

【Ayutthaya】

Wat Chai Wattanaram, One of the most visited historical site of Ayutthaya, Wat Chai wattanaram rests on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, to the west of the city Island. The Temple was ordered to built in 1630 by King Prasat Thong to honor his mother, featuring the architectural style influenced by Angkor temple in Cambodia-its unique feature is a large, central prang (Khmer-style pagoda) surrounded by smaller prangs, symbolizing Mount Sumeru, the gods' mountain according to Hindu belief. The lighting at night makes the temple even more exotic and beautiful.

Wat Phra Sri Sanphet: The Temple is not only a significant historical site, but also considered as the spiritual center of Thais for a long time. Situated within the royal Palace grounds, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet is the royal monastery and therefore no monk is allowed to reside at. However, the temple served to conduct ceremonies within the royal court, such as the ritual to drink an oath of allegiance. It is also regarded as an equivalence of Wat Mahathat in Sukhothai and a model for Wat Phra Sri Ratana Sasadaram (the royal temple of the Emerald Buddha) or Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok.

【Sukhothai】

Sukhothai Historical Park, declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has a number of fine monuments, illustrating the beginnings of Thai architecture. The park is also every photographer's dream spot.

【Chiang Mai】

Doi Suthep: Doi Suthep is a constant part of life in Chiang Mai. A Thai saying goes, "If you haven't tasted Khao Soi or seen the view from Doi Suthep, you haven't been to Chiang Mai." This regal mountain overlooks the city from the northwest, providing commanding views from its summit. Aside from its dominating presence on the horizon, Doi Suthep is the home of some of the most deeply loved symbols in the Kingdom.

【Phuket】

The Phi Phi islands are some of the loveliest in Southeast Asia. Just a 45-minute speedboat trip or a 90-minute ferryboat ride from either Phuket or Krabi, these picture postcard islands offer the ultimate tropical getaway. Featuring classic tropical beaches, stunning rock formations and vivid turquoise waters teeming with colourful marine life, it is paradise perfected.

Surfing is like flying on the surface of water. Nothing beats the thrill of riding giant waves at breakneck speeds. Irrespective of your experience levels, you can enjoy this sport in Phuket. Scuba Diving: If you have not been introduced to the world of Scuba Diving, Phuket could be your best bet. The cool, azure blue sea waters surrounding Phuket have dozens of dive sites offering incredible diving experiences.

Must-Try Thai cuisine

Tom Yum Goong (Spicy Shrimp Soup)

This iconic bowl of steaming goodness is bold, aromatic and comes with a fairly strong spicy kick. Tom yum goong is created with quintessential Thai ingredients like lemongrass, chilli, galangal, kaffier lime leaves, shallots, fresh lime juice and plenty of fish sauce. Fresh prawns and mushrooms are added and coconut cream if you want the creamy version.

Tom Kha Gai (Chicken in Coconut Soup)

Tom kha gai is related to tom yum and offers people with a lower tolerance to spice the opportunity to taste the same beautiful flavours. Besides the spice scale, Tom kha gai is also unique in that it typically comes with lots of creamy coconut milk creating a rich sweet soup. Like most Thai foods, vegetarian options are easily adaptable by substituting a few ingredients.

Thai Chicken Satay

If you've never had the real stuff, then you'll fall in love with this special Thai chicken satay recipe. Strips of chicken or beef are marinated in a special Thai paste, then skewered and grilled or broiled. It is then served with homemade peanut sauce for a memorable taste.

Gaeng Keow Wan Gai (Thai Green Chicken Curry)
The most popular curry in Thailand is green curry. It is a curry made from herb and spice blend curry paste cooked with coconut milk. Green curry is not that spicy, it is rather sweet. Green curry is such a great dish, especially when served with steaming rice or kanomjeen noodle.
