[Hagia Sophia]

The fresco of the Virgin Mary holding Jesus in her arms above the dome radiates a golden light.


[Basilica Cistern]

Located diagonally opposite the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern was built in 532 AD as an underground cistern from the Byzantine period to the Ottoman Empire.Today, it can be considered one of Istanbul's most romantic and mysterious sights. The huge palace was built of 336 huge stone pillars, each of which is carved with exquisite designs. Inside the palace are two inverted stone sculptures of Medusa's head. Walking along its raised wooden platforms, you'll feel water dripping from the vaulted ceiling and see schools of ghostly carp patrolling the water.


[Blue Mosque]

The Sultan Ahmet Mosque, popularly known as the Blue Mosque, was completed in 1617,is one of Istanbul’s most prominent symbols, located directly opposite the Hagia Sophia. It is an essential part of the city's skyline with its six magnificent minarets and still actively used for daily and congregational prayers of Fridays.


[Topkapi Palace Museum]

The Topkapi Palace is one of the oldest historical palaces in the world. It served as the main place of residence and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman sultans for nearly four centuries. It is notable not only for its architecture and collections but also for the history and culture of the Ottoman Empire that it recalls. You can overlook the Golden Horn, the Bosporus and the Sea of Marmara there.

[Galata Tower]

Day 3 Istanbul

Today, you will enjoy a leisure trip from Taksim Square, a major transportation hub in Istanbul, walking through the Istiklal Caddesi, called the Champs Elysees in Istanbul.Then you will visit the Galata Tower, where you can get a bird's-eye view of part of Istanbul and enjoy your lunch. 

Now, you will take a cruise trip to enjoy the sea view of Bosporus. One minute you're in Asia, and the next minute you're in Europe, it is an amazing geographic switch.
