Dear Joanna, Tomorrow we return home from a glorious Korean trip! This by far was the very best trip we have taken-anywhere! I thank you for arranging such a successful adventure - the hotels were all very nice, the tour guides outstanding and the food was some of the very best we have enjoyed. The tours were all interesting and we learned so much. The people of Korea are kind and so friendly! We look forward to returning to Asia, with you as our travel coordinator. Please give me your recommendations for our next trip we have visited China from Shanghai to Beijing, north India, Viernam, Thailand & Turkey, again about 15 days. Thank you again, Carol

Dear Doris Thank you for your follow up. Yes, we are back home. Sorry for late reply as we got quite busy catching up with work. :) We are happy with the tour to Mount Fuji and Kakone. First of all, I thank you for your consistent follow up from enquiry through booking of the tour, answering my questions and also taking the effort to drop me an email on the eve of our trip. That is very thoughtful. The pick up at the hotel was on time & the entire journey to catch the bus to Mount Fuji was also well organised. However, the stops at Mount Fuji and Mount Hakone were both relatively short & so, it was quite a rush to take photos, buy food/ souvenirs & go to the toilets etc. I guess it is a common feedback? :) Not too sure if there is any way to improve on that given the long travel distances. This, we understand too. The tour guide (Mika, if i remember correctly) is very patient & attentive. She also gave us clear instructions on how to return to our individual hotels and sent all of us off on the bullet train which was was great since all of us do not speak or read Japanese & were worried about alighting at the wrong stop. I think the bus driver was polite & drove carefully. Hope the above comments help. I will surely consider booking tours with Novalands again. Have a great weekend! Best regards Julie

Emma, Thanks for asking about our tour with you. I will be glad to respond. The man who picked us up at the airport was great! He gave us a nice talk on the way to the hotel. The man who took us to the airport did not seem to speak English. This was not so good. The tours were fine. Some of the times and directions seemed to change for the program after we got there. This is not good. Pickup time for the airport was changed the morning of pick up—not good. The hotel was fine but some of the staff did not speak much English. The location of the hotel is great. It would be nice to tell your customers like us of some of the points of interest that are within walking distance to the hotel. The night markets are nice but people may not know about them. We found the people very nice, friendly and helpful!!! I hope this helps, Don Ward

Dear Cindy, Thank you for the email. We had an outstanding time with our trip to Japan. Everything was well organized and the tours were excellent. We were incredibly pleased with our overall experience and your definetly your planning. Japan is a wonderful country with incredibly nice people. We were able to figure out the subway and train system after some mishaps, but it is also a very efficient system. We will definitely use you again the next time we travel to Asia. We have never had a trip go so smoothly and according to plan, so thank you so much. I really do not have any criticisms, since everything went so well. Hi Siva, We had a really nice time in Japan. We appreciated all that you did for us to make our trip enjoyable. We liked our day tours in Tokyo. I would recommend that your clients be told that the day tours are with JTB Sunrise Tours and that a JTB tour guide would meet them in the lobby. They should also be told that a shuttle transfer bus will take them to the the tour bus depot where they will then depart on their tour. The sites that we saw on the Nikko World Heritage tour and the Dynamic Tokyo tour were very good. The JAL Hotel in Aomori was okay. The hotel room we checked into was extremely small. There was hardly any room to move around. I think your clients should be advised of that. They should also be given the option of upgrading to a larger room with two double beds. Those rooms are more of a western standard size. Our private guide in Hokkaido, "Taka" was excellent. He was very well prepared with umbrellas and towels when it was rainy. He was very accommodating. We enjoyed the Oyunuma brook foot bath. We really liked our stay at the Toya Kohantei Onsen. Our lake front room was amazing. We also like the Makado Onsen Hotel. The food at all of the hotels was very good. Thanks again, Lynne Lowe
