Jeju:rnHi JoannarnJust a line or two about our tour in Jeju. The ship docked rather than tendered passengers ashore so that we were ashore about 10:10 a.m. rather than 11 a.m. Your other tour guide phoned and arranged for Cindi to come soon – she was there about 10:40 a.m. And so our tour was on its way before 11 a.m.rnOur guide was Cindi (Cindy) and she was a little overwhelmed by two or three pushy passengers especially one who wanted – almost demanded – that there be free wifi on the bus. She explained that her phone had wifi which she paid for personally and could not use to create a hot-spot on the bus. From there on that passenger was critical of everything. He and his wife were the only ones!rnCindi’s English could use improving but it was okay. And the scope of the itinerary was stretching the time possibilities and she did not realize that lunch was included so she rearranged the schedule to accommodate and telephoned for lunch arrangements at the folk village.rnThe bus and driver were very good. At lunch we went to the restaurant which she had called and they were not prepared for us so she pulled us out, we used the WCs and she arranged for another restaurant immediately. But as you can understand, with 30 passengers there was some confusion. But lunch was very good. And authentic.rnThe rest of the day went well – a visit to Sunrise Peak, a half hour at Loveland Park and a quick stop for Dragon Rock.rnAnd we were back to the ship right on 5 p.m. as required.rnAll in all the tour had a shaky beginning but turned out well. All but for one unhappy, unsatisfied passenger who didn’t get his free wifi and complained heartily about the confusion at the day’s beginning.rnA score? The early morning – about 6 out of 10.rnOnce lunch was in place and the rest of the day? 10 out of 10.rnA good tour.rnThanks.rnrnrnrnBusan:rnGreat tour in Busan today. Our guide John was excellent - an older Korean native of Busan. And he had an assistant to help herd the group. Good bus, good driver, terrific lunch. We were a little short on time but that's no one's fault.rnBestrnrnrnHakodate:rnGreat tour today. Excellent, professional guide well prepared for her job.rnEveryone is very pleased. rnLunches - which are important cultural references - was different again from our other tours and was very good.rnThanksrnBob

Dear AlicernrnI had a wonderful time in Japan, and want to thank you for going to all the trouble of getting extra information for me. Everything went very smoothly.rnrnI thought JTB Sunrise Tours did a great job, but I would like to make some comments.rnrn1. As a single traveler, it was a shame that I had to sit by myself on the day we had lunch in Kyoto. When you travel by yourself it is nice to have someone to talk to during the meal. That day, I did not have anyone sitting next to me on the coach so was looking forward to having someone to talk to at lunch.rnThe lunch after our visit to My Fuji was in a wonderful location, the restaurant had amazing views over the lake, but those of us who were single travelers had to sit so far away from the windows that we could not enjoy the view. There were lots of table unused right near the windows, so it did not have to be like that.rnrn2. The Mt Fuji day finished at Odawarra Station 3 hours before the train you had booked me to travel to Kyoto on was due to leave. Thankfully the tour guide suggested that I ask at the ticket office if I could change my ticket for an earlier train, which I was able to do, so I did not get to Kyoto so late. I think it would be good to tell other travelers that it is possible to change train tickets for earlier departures to save waiting around. I did the same thing when I was leaving Kyoto and got back to Tokyo earlier.rnrn3. The JTB Sunrise Guides were so careful to help all tour participants find their way back to their hotel when each tour finished. rnThey were very knowledgeable and helpful with so many things, like which type of sake to buy! Would be very happy to do their tours again!rnrnI had a great time, Alice, and think you did a wonderful job. I hope my comments are helpful.rnrnI will recommend Novaland to any friends who are thinking of travelling to the countries your company services.rnrnKind regardsrnrnAnn

Hi Cindy,rnI have arrived back in Tokyo.rnEverything has been very nice so far.rnI just have to tell you about my hotel rooms in general.rnWhen I arrived on the 15 and I checked in at the Shiba Park hotel, they told me "Your reservation is for a double but we don't have any of those rooms available, we can give you a big single room" so I said that would be fine as I am just one person. However, I didn't realize they put me in a smoking room. At first I thought all rooms have an ashtray because smoking is allowed almost everywhere here in Japan, but now I realize they actually have non-smoking rooms. I don't smoke, but the smell from other rooms was getting into mine. Today I checked in again at the Shiba Park hotel and this time they did put me in a bigger room with a bigger bed and it is no-smoking room. The difference is remarkable. So I just want to say that I'm disappointed that I had to spend my first three nights in Japan breathing second hand smoke, which is more damaging. There is nothing I can do about now and I just feel frustrated. I wish I would have I known better to demand what I had requested. rnI am very happy with my room this time. It doesn't smell like cigarette at all. I didn't know better the first time or I would have asked to be changed to a non-smoking room. I was naive and didn't know. rnThe room in Osaka also smell like cigarette, but they had an air purifier in my room so I kept it running all the time when I was in my room.rnKyoto also had an ashtray in the room, but again I thought "maybe this is the way all hotels are because almost everybody smokes here". I also kept the air conditioning on to make the smell go away.rnI did the same thing in Fuji, just kept the air conditioning running and I opened the window too.rnNo complains in Takayama. They gave me a non-smoking room.rnIn general my rooms have been nice and clean. It's just that I wish I would have known better to make sure I was always put in a non-smoking room.rnBreathing second hand smoke is very damaging to one's health.rnrnI feel so bad this happened. Lack of experience :(rnrnrnSent from my iPhone

We very much enjoyed our day on Jeju. Ms. Joan was a great guide, very personable, charming and with a lot of energy. She spoke impeccable English and have us a good idea of life on Jeju. She also was very flexible with our schedule, in a good way, taking us to something that was not originally planned.rnrnThank you for arranging the tour.

Dear Lillian, rnrnMy apologies for not advising you if this earlier. My passengers were very satisfied with your service.rnrnThank you and we can look forward to more groups in the future. The Villamor family want to do an Osaka/Kyoto/Nara/Kobe tour same time next year.rnrnMarilou

Hi Lillian!rnrnWe were very happy with our private tour especially with our tour guide Betty Yip. She was very knowledgable and considerate especially to the Seniors and kids who were always looking for comfort rooms. rnrnThe only comment is on the driver who refused to turn on the AC when some of my family went ahead to the van while waiting for the others who were using the comfort room. It was very hot that day and the group was tired but the driver did not want to turn on the AC for them unless we were all complete in the van. rnrnAside from that incident, we were very happy with the tour. rnrnMy husband and I will be in Tokyo from oct29-nov1 and are considering joining another 1day tour to see Mt. Fuji and other sites. I will contact you nearer that date.rnrnThank you for this smooth transaction and experience. rnrnRegards.rnAnna

Dear Ms Tinarn rnGood day to yournNothing much we can say. But we are extremely satisfied with the service rendered by your people, especially the tour guide, Ms Angela.rn rn1. How is our service throughout your tour from any aspects you feel? Such as our travel consultant, tour guide’s, drivers or others’ attitude; hotels, transportations, scenic spots’ arrangement; and any other words you would like to say to me.rnrn Travel consultant, we are very satisfied with Ms Tina’s service. Despite us asking so many questions and make so many changes, you assist us thoroughly till the end. The tour guide is awesome. Ms Angela provide us a very good service and if we ever have another trip to Korea, we definitely want her to be our guide again. Even though we arrange the hotel ourselves, she still so concern and assist us a lot in dealing and putting request to the hotel. Drivers are fine and helpful. Other arrangements are fine too. There are explanations about all the tourist spot that we visit, not too much info, just enough.rnrnIn total, we are very satisfied with all the services rendered by your time. Thank you very much.rnrn rnrn2. Where can we improve to be better and stronger?rnrn Hotel location and tourist spots. Maybe you should start considering few options for hotel. Offering Hanok stay, guesthouse stay or even a mini hotel would possibly open the options to travelers.rnrn As for tourist spots, maybe you can start proposing other tourist spots different from what other travel agencies offer. Of course your customer can customize their itinerary but proposing differently will make you special and will attract customers to know more about you. These are just my opinions.rnrn rnrn3. Any other valuable comments, travel experience and happy moments you may have.rnrn It is a happy moments throughout the trip. And we thank you for that.rnrn rnrn rn rnThank yournrn rnrnBest Regards, rnrnAzirah RadzirnSenior Executive

Hi Lillian, rnrnWe just got back from our wonderful holiday and wedding in Korea. rnrnThe tour which you planned for us was just amazing. Each tour guide - Mr. Lee, Ki Ock, and Mina were just excellent and so good to us. Their English was very good and they gave us lots of history and information about all the places that we visited. The drivers were excellent as well. They were prompt and always right there to do things for us. We were always amazed that we were always picked up exactly where we were supposed to be and always on time. For lunch each day the guides took us to wonderful Korean restaurants and had wonderful meals planned for us. Our tour could not have been better. rnrnWe arrived back in Seoul Train Station 2 hours early (that was our change) so we phoned was it Jini at the Seoul Office and she was right down to pick us up. She stayed with us in the cab and then when we got to our hotel she stayed with us and we went for a walk so she could show us around and find a good place to eat. Could you please send me her correct name (I misplaced that paper) and her Seoul office email address as I want to send her an email to thank her again. She was just so nice. rnrnWe loved Korea and our time there. Thank You so much for planning such a wonderful holiday for us!rnrnAl and Joan Krause

Hi Tina,rnThe trip was great and enjoyable. The hotel in Beijing was very nice. However the location was a little bit hard for us to find English menu Resturant. We found one with recommendation from the hotel. The sites in Beijing were wonderful. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The driver was always early. The car was comfortablernrnXi'an, as you know the hotel was not as what we would have like. But the location was fantastic. It was lots of selections for dinner. The tour guide was probably the least friendly and not as personable when compared to the other two. But she was polite. The driver was good and always early. However the car was a bit old and not as comfortable in the back. The sites in Xi'an was very interesting. rnrnShanghai was wonderful. You did a great job with the hotel. The location was great. It was very convenient for two nights we stayed. We could walk everywhere. The tour guide was the best. She was wonderful, very friendly and personable. Only one day we spent with her but she made us feels so comfortable. She was helpful and very bubbly. rnrnOverall the trip was very nice. Thank you for your help and prompt respond to our request during the trip. rnrnSara and Diluks

Thank you for give to me and my husband a good gide in Busan.rnMrs. Ki Ock Jung is a fantastic gide, she is polite, very good gide, work hard with eficience and she is a very very good person.rnWe are going to miss her and Busan.rnLindalva Miranda from Brasil.rnrnFirst I want to tell you that your country is wonderful and nice. The city is clean. The people are educated and young people are delicate and even try to help tourists. The people in Korea are very pleasant.rn rnThe service we had on trip was great. The tourists guides were very good on their service, specially the one from Busan city! In Seoul, Mr.Lee, Soo Bok, was also a good one! The Busan guide, Mrs Ki Ock Jung, was the best...rn rnTalking about the hotels, the chosen hotels were very pleasant! But please note that apart from the hotel workers in Busan that at least one person could patiently speak english.rnIn Jeju there was nobody who could. We had a hard time in that hotel even to ask for a soup!!!!!! And I could not takes the soup!...rnExplain: When we came back from tour, the restaurant from hotel was already closed. Because of that I had dinner, two days, French fries with soda, outside hotel. Or we eat potatoes,or would have to eat very spicy Korean food *:)) gargalhadas*:)) gargalhadas*:)) gargalhadasrnSometimes the guide wrote for me, in Korean language, what I wanted to eat, but not so the manager and 3 others from the hotel, trying to help the manager, does not understand anything at all. Was a shame what happened. I chose good hotel!rn rnTransport was good. The last day in Korea, going to the airport, was the best. In Brazil when we do well every day and the last day we do the best, we say " closed with golden key ". And you did it.rn rnFor you to be better and Strong I suggest a schedule that arrive early at the hotel, for the night to go watch a show of korean dances, things korean folklore etc. I like that a lot and not watched. It was a pity!rnOf course, this is my opinion, because I think in a show beyond to watch beautiful things of the Country also in the chilled out and played and laughed with people that make tour with us for several days. It's good to make interaction with people from other Countries.rn rnThank you for the discount on the next trip. In Asia lack only know Vietnam, Laos and Nepal. The Nepal we can not go this time because of the earthquake .rn rnI hope my words will help with what you are looking for in matters of improvment of your servisse.

Yes, I am enjoying my trip so far. I didn't made a mistake with down grading to 4 star. This is perfect for me. I would definitely recommend this tour. The replacement site to DMZ, the kimchi making was fun. I would really recommend Ms Kim in Busan.
