Hello Ms Lilian!rnrnThanks for your email..Sorry I wasn't able to feedback due to busy schedule.rnrnI guess you may back your home after finishing your journey. May I ask did you have good time arranged by us?rn rnYes, we did...We so love our tour with Novaland..We did enjoy Kawaguchiko experience--the onsen, the Mt Fuji View, the food was superb! That was our favorite hotel!rnrn1. How is our service throughout your tour from any aspects you feel? Such as our travel consultant, tour guide’s, drivers or others’ attitude; hotels, transportations, scenic spots’ arrangement; and any other words you would like to say to me.rnrn***Service was great. Coach was ok..Driver was friendly though sometimes he drives a little off..Overall, he's nice and a happy person. Our tour guide Daiki was exceptional! He's very accommodating, kind, a bit shy though in a good way, very sweet, generous and always listens to all our requests. We so love him!!!!rnrnHotels are good..The best hotel for us was Kawaguchiko then Royal Brighton in Kyoto and the one in Osaka..rnrnSo far, everything was superb! Scenic spots, etc.rnrnTravel consultant Ms Lilian was always prompt to answer all my queries! Such an amazing agent!rn rn2. Where can we improve to be better and stronger? rnrn***Upon airport arrival we hope that the one who will pick us up will be there already..But we do understand that sometimes, we have to wait..We do encountered some bumps like the tickets that we are supposed to have--Disney Sea but instead we got Disneyland..Anyway, everything was well compensated for the mistakes.rn rn3. Any other valuable comments, travel experience and happy moments you may have.rnrn***We will truly get and recommend Novaland tours!rn rnMoreover, for you next trip arranged by us, you will enjoy benefit of deducting USD80/group from your full amount of next tour package with over 5 days duration. rnrn***Thank you! I will keep this in mind...rnrnLooking forward for our next travel with you!rnrnThanks and God Bless, Rhea

Cindy,rnOur guide in Kyoto, and surrounding area was excellent. Loads of knowledge and really knew how to get around by train. Also very caring person. I would recommend him again.his English was ok. In rnOur guide in Tokyo ...... Nice guy, funny guy. Did not know the transportation system in Tokyo that well. Was not very organized. Has not been to the places we visited in a long time. His knowledge was fair. We ordered this trip 6 months ago and we should have gotten very best . His English was only fair.we did not get the best in Tokyo and I am disappointed. We would not recommend him.rnLarryrnrnSent from my iPad

Dear Melody, rnrnYes, we have made it back safely to Malaysia on Monday, rested and now I am back to work with a super busy schedule.rnrnOverall, we are happy with our trip to Busan and happy with the service provided by you. However some feedback we hope to highlight and will get your favourable attention for future improvement, nothing really major - see below.rnrnOn itinerary:rnOn Day 3 (20 Nov), where we were suppose to go back to Busan Museum for the hanbok, we still didn't manage to do this. Further, we also didn't manage to cover all the places as per the itinerary, ie. we did not go to Jagalchi Fish Market and the Yongdusan Park. Traffic was not so good and our driver cum guide's driving was a bit "inexperience". I suppose, these could have been better managed and we relied on you and the guide to ensure time management is proper so that what was committed to us are delivered. Yes, we were the one who asked the guide to skip these two destination, otherwise we would not be able to make it on time for our cruise. Even after skipping these two destination, the time spent at the International Market was too rush.rnrnrnAs for the cruise, we didn't quite enjoy it. Firstly, the journey was really shallow and yet the price that we have to paid was exorbitant. Personally, although I was the one who asked to include a cruise, I would expect that it better be a good one that is "value for money". If there is no such cruise in Busan, I presume Novaland could have advised me strongly not to include this in our itinerary. Whilst we have to pay for this, we also sacrificed two places which we have also paid.rnrnOn the tour guide:rnKim is a nice lady and she was very patient in explaining and answering all our questions. Although communication was difficult occasionally, we managed to make it through. Hence, we are actually happy with her service and did give her some tippings. Because our hotel was located in a narrow lane and entry and exit are a little difficult, she scratched her car on the way out of the hotel on Day 3, hence we do sympatise with her.

Dear Lillian,rnSorry for not replying earlier - we’ve been very busy since getting back from our holiday in Japan.rnPlease find our replies below.rnrn1. How is our service throughout your tour from any aspects you feel? Such as our travel consultant, tour guide’s, drivers or others’ attitude; hotels, transportation, scenic spots’ arrangement; and any other words you would like to say to me.rnWe were very happy with the Novaland Tours service throughout.rnAs our travel consultant, you, Lillian, were thorough and meticulous in the planning of our trip, which involved multiple revisions in order to take into account all our personal wishes. This excellent service continued right through to the actual holiday itself where the couple of queries which we had while while in Japan were answered extremely promptly and usefully.rnrnWe particularly appreciated the level of detail you provided in our itinerary, including all sorts of invaluable tips such as how to travel on buses, lots of maps and information for getting from the various train stations to our hotels in different cities, even on the days when we were travelling independently.rnrnThe Sunrise guides were always very friendly and full of interesting information during the all the different visits in which we participated. Each guide was different and we enjoyed getting to know each of them. The bus drivers were always professional and courteous, and the organisation, which was especially complicated in bigger cities such as Kyoto and Tokyo, worked very well.rn rn2. Where can we improve to be better and stronger? rnWhile we cannot find fault with any of your services, we preferred the tours where there were fewer participants. There was one tour, I think it was the Kyoto 1-day tour, where we were indeed many people - two big buses - and we found it a bit difficult to get close enough to the guide to hear all the information about the places we visited.rnOn the other hand, sometimes we were very few (for Koya San, just the two of us with the guide), and this was wonderful, a real treat !rnrnWe unfortunately missed out on visiting Kyoto Imperial Palace as this trip was planned for a Sunday, when the palace was closed, so if that has been known in advance, we might have been able to arrange it differently.rnrn3. Any other valuable comments, travel experience and happy moments you may have.rnSome particular highlights for us were Koya San, Himeji Castle, Hiroshima & Miyajima, the tea ceremony in Uji, Byodoin Temple, the Sagano Bamboo Grove, the Castle Gardens and Kenrokuen Gardens in Kanazawa and our free time in Tokyo.rnrnOn the less positive side, we would not recommend the Osaka 1-day walking tour - the Ariel Garden and the Aqua Liner were quite a waste of time, although Osaka Castle was interesting to see.rnAlso, we spent a whole hour walking up and down one street at the Takayama morning market, which was too long (normally only 30 minutes were planned for this).rnAnd finally, the tea ceremony in Tokyo was disappointing (too many people squeezed in and not enough time and space to appreciate the ceremony), especially as we’d had a far nicer experience in Uji.rnrnrnJust one other thing now that I remember: on September 9, we took the Sagano Bamboo Grove & Arashiyama walking tour. This was supposed to be with lunch on a moving boat. Due to heavy rains, the lunch was cancelled and (I think) the guide said we should get a refund for that part of the tour. Do you know something about this ?rnrnLillian, all that remains is for us to thank you once more for all your care and attention in arranging our holiday in Japan. I hope our comments are useful for you.rnrnregards,rnAnnie & Jean-Jacques

Hello Siva. You are quite correct. It is a long flight from Jeju to Saskatoon, particularly when the Air Canada flight is 3 hours late leaving Incheon. That said, our Korean trip was very much enjoyed and we thank you for helping make the trip a very positive experience. Your attention to detail is commendable (值得赞美的,可推荐的). Your choice of our driver/guides was excellent. Mr Oh was like one of our own sons – respectful, caring and good natured. He made our tine in Seorak and Seoul special and was very generous with his time. Our one complaint about Seorak (and it could have been my fault for not being clear) was that our hotel was not within the park as we wished. There was nothing wrong with the hotel you picked, just its location. Our driver/guide Victor (spelling ?) on Jeju Island was also very good. He is very knowledgeable about the island and was patient with our many questions. He was also flexible in adding a visit to a traditional village. We enjoyed the hotel in Jeju and its downtown location. It may be some time before we return to Asia but we will certainly recommend your company to friends visiting Asian countries, Thanks again for your services, Garth

Hi Joanna, rnrnThank you for your follow up email.rnrnWe spent an extra week in Japan after the tour ended. Thanks for organising the tour, you have done a great job in coordinating it for us. It was very good & well organised. Lunches were also very good, nice food & good restaurants. We had a great time. Overall, we satisfied with the service & the tours.rnrnWe will get in touch with your office again in the future if we travel to Asia. Just wondering if we will get a discount for the next trip if we book with your company (like the Japan tour)?rnrnRegards, rnKathy & Paul

This trip has been amazing. I'll respond fully when I have more time and I have a lot of positive stuff to share :)rnrnWe're still going to go to the DMZ tomorrow and return on Saturday. At that time, I'll find the time to answer fully.rnrnSo I had an almost 100% positive experience with everyone. Melody, your itinerary was lovely, packed with beautiful things and great activities. The guides and drivers were all lovely, punctual and knowledgeable. It was a very special trip!rnrnI think the only negatives were that we realized that 2 free days might have been better than just one free day. Also, we booked too many temples - by the end it got a little boring - but the guides were great at moving quickly and we did other things.rnrnrnOur only problems came from communication. In the itinerary, it was stated "your guide will give you tickets" or "your guide will tell you the time of tomorrow's pickup." However, each time, I realized later that the guides did not tell us those details. I would simply call Jacky and get that information though. Also, on our final day, our itinerary said 12pm pickup but the guide was waiting from 11am. These are small issues and did not make any negative impact on our enjoyment of the trip - I'm only mentioning this because you asked :)rnrnI loved the trip! These guides were amazing and I recommend using them again! If you ever book a trip to Seoul, I strongly recommend you suggest to your clients to visit the Hongdae neighborhood - it's very cool.rnrnThank you Melody! Your hard work in booking this is very appreciated.

Yes everything has been wonderful. Flying back to seoul tomorrow and then home to vanvouver. Will write you more details from home.rnrnThe tour company was excellent. Transportation, tours, accommodations and everything was very well organized and exactly as you had outlined in the itinerary. i loved seeing the sites of the island and our tour guides were great.rnThank you so much. I will recommend you to anyone who wants to plan a trip.

Dear Cindy, rnrnrnThank you for the email.rnrnrnWe had an outstanding time with our trip to Japan. Everything was well organized and the tours were excellent. We were incredibly pleased with our overall experience and your definetly your planning. Japan is a wonderful country with incredibly nice people. We were able to figure out the subway and train system after some mishaps, but it is also a very efficient system.rnrnrnWe will definitely use you again the next time we travel to Asia. We have never had a trip go so smoothly and according to plan, so thank you so much. I really do not have any criticisms, since everything went so well.rnrnrnAgain, my wife and I want to thank you for your hard work and help during this whole process.rnrnrnAll the best, rnrnrnTimmy

Hello, EmmarnrnGreetings from Seoul, Korea! We are still here as my husband has a long conference + meeting, and then we will have a few days exploring Seoul together. We return to Scotland on Friday 30 October, after more than 3 weeks in Korea.rnrnThe first part of our time in Korea was spent with Novaland and was excellent - that is our summary of your tour!rnrn1. TRAVEL CONSULTANT - Emma Chen - excellent, efficient, flexible and accommodating in the preparation of our tour. You always replied promptly and pleasantly. Everything went very smoothly because of your good planning and communication.rnrnTOUR GUIDES Jeju - Yeha tours x3, to the South, West and East were all excellent. (Both guides were very good, Je Hoon and Gin - but especially the latter).rnBusan - Kim was a brilliant guide - very knowledgable, interesting, personal and kind. She answered our many questions with patience!rnGyeongju, Andong (Daegu) etc - Mr Jon(g) - a wonderful guide with so much knowledge, experience, and understanding of history, culture and religion, plus a great sense of humour!rnrnDRIVERS ETC. The lady who met us at Incheon Airport was pleasant - she must have wondered where we were as our luggage was left in Quatar (transit stop) so we had to discuss with the Airline how to forward it.rnDrivers from Incheon Airport to Sunbee Hotel (9 Oct), and from Sunbee Hotel to Gimpo Airportrn(10 Oct), possibly did not know the way to the Sunbee Hotel - maybe SatNav misdirected them.rnYeha bus drivers in Jeju were all very goodrnDriver form Busan Airport to Toyoko Hotel - Mr Jacky Choi, was excellent and informative, but we wished he had introduced himself at the airport! Good to meet the local organiser.rnDriver for 5 days - around Busan and then on to Daegu - Mr Choi (brother), is an excellent, careful, reliable driver. We felt very safe.rnrnHOTELS. Sunbee Hotel, Seoul - was an excellent choice - so central, but quiet, and with clean, comfortable rooms, and welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Good Korean breakfast too. Easy to walk to historical places.rnEver Hotel, Jeju, was pleasant to stay in with a good breakfast. It was near a street with restaurants and especially cosmetic shops, but did not have scenic places to walk to - not really necessary!rnToyoko Hotel, Haeundae, Busan, was comfortable and quiet, with a very good breakfast, and close to the beach and other places to walk. There were nearby restaurants.rnrnSCENIC TRIPS We thought the visits were well planned and varied. They allowed us to see a lot of the cities and countryside (especially beautiful with the Autumn colours), but also to understand more of the religious, historical and cultural background, with visits to temples, tumuli, museums, markets, beaches and cultural villages. We enjoyed being introduced to varied local cuisine too.rnrnWe have many happy memories of all the places we visited and of people we met, and the guides who explained things so well to us. It was good to be part of bigger groups on the Jeju tours, but very special to have our own guide and driver on the mainland Novoland part of the trip. Communication was very good before and during the trip so we always knew what each day would involve. It is difficult to think where / how you can improve your service as it was so good! We will thoroughly recommend Novaland and try to persuade some of our friends to use your company! Thank you very much!rnrnWith our best wishesrnrnColin and Marian Martin
