Hi Melody, rnrnI’m so sorry it took a while to write back to you, but we were really tired from the jet lag. There’s a 13-hour difference in time between the eastern U. S. and Korea, and when it’s morning there it’s night here.rnrnFirst of all, I can’t tell you what a wonderful time my husband and I had in Busan, and much of it was due to our guide Ms. Kim and driver Mr. Choi. Ms. Kim was extremely knowledgable of the places we visited and made it really interesting with her personal stories. She allowed us to go at our own pace and we felt extremely comfortable with the two of them. The lunches were just right for us - I think it gave us a hint of real Korean food even though it was not spicy-hot.rnrnSince we allowed only two days, I know that we did not get a grand view of Busan, but the places chosen were just right to give us a hint ofrnwhat the area is like.rnrnThank you for arranging the tour. I’m glad I decided to go with a private tour since my husband and I were really tired from the long airplane ride. Please thank Ms. Kim for me and let her know that if we’re ever in Busan again I hope we can find a guide like her.rnrnJean NLT-150712-FJ56495

好评: The bike tour yesterday was great. Our tour guide Annie did an excellent job.rnWe went to the bamboo forest in the afternoon its was amazing.rnrn投诉酒店: I just wanted to let you know that we have arrived safely and enjoying the sounds and sights of Tokyo. rnYou should know however that we are very disappointed with the quality of the Sheba Park Hotel. The room décor is old and musty and poorly located. Frankly it is not a hotel that I would be recommending. It is a big disappointment. NLT-150525-TK55286

Hi. I realize this got buried in my email when I got back. Overall we enjoyed our tour very much and my parents tell me they had a good tour in China. I forwarded your email to my parents so that they could respond to you directly w/ their feedback. Regarding my feedback on the Korean tour, I wrote you w/ some feedback already right after our trip ended at the end of May, but in case you are missing it, here’s what I wrote:rnrnrnHi Tina. Other than the glitch at Hanwha Resort, we have had a very good tour. We said goodbye to our guide and driver tonight. They were very professional and excellent. My parents enjoyed talking with them and Mina (our guide) was very good with our two kids.rnrnSome feedback to you about the resorts:rnThe Hanwha Resort may have said the family room could accommodate 6 people, but I think that would only be true if four of the persons were kids. Having two adult and two kids on the floor really wasn’t practical. At most, one adult and two kids could sleep on the floor… I appreciated that you did the right thing in getting a second room for our party. When we booked the tour, my understanding was that my parents would have their own room separate from ours and we’d have our own beds — the original room reservation did not meet the agreed upon lodging arrangements. Having said that, the room for four people is very nice and I’d recommend it for future guests so long as the group was no more than five people. (I might recommend for future tours choosing an alternative hotel if this situation arises again…) They had a great breakfast.rnrnThe November Hotel was hard to find, but a really excellent establishment. Our favorite lodging of them all. Great decor. We were quite impressed by their amenities and service and it far exceeded our expectations.rnrnThe Andong Park Tourist Hotel is really more of a 2-star hotel and was not as nice as the other hotels. Although serviceable, we recommend you use an alternative hotel in Andong for 4-5 star hotel requests by other travelers.rnrnThe hotels the last two nights (Hotel the DY in Gyeongju, Eldis Regent in Daegu) were also excellent hotels on the same level as the Hanwha Resort. We enjoyed them very much.rnrnOverall, we’ve been quite satisfied by our tour. I think my mother, who was a bit nervous about what to expect, was put at ease by the professionalism and overall quality of the tour. I think that will make her feel more comfortable about the upcoming China tour for her and my father. Thanks again for checking in with me about the accommodations.rnrnSincerely, rnrnJonathan Choe NLT-150620-EK54145

Emma-rnrnOur tour was so wonderful! I can not believe how much information Soo Bok knew. He was an amazing tour guide and we sure enjoyed his company! We missed him when the tour was over with him and felt lost! :) I just can't express enough how much we really enjoyed SooBok! He was truly wonderful! Part of our experience was meeting people who lived there and we really enjoyed talking with SooBok! Thank you! Please extend our gratefulness to SooBOk!rnrnThe tour itself as far as what was on the agenda was great. It sure was a LOT and the only reason we decided to cut it short was because we would get home at night so tired and have not time to shop and explore. So we wanted a afternoon to shop for family at home. We felt bad cutting it short! But we have little kids at home that was hoping for fun gifts from Korea! :) Also we were visiting the orphanage and wanted to have enough time and rest for that! rnrnEverything was very well organized and punctual! Everyone that we met that was part of your tour package was so accomadating and nice to be around! rnrnThank you!!rnrnAudrey NLT-150620-TC59136

Hi Emma, rnrnThese are the things we really liked: Hallim Park, Trick Art Museum, Seongeup Folk Village, Seongsan Sunrise Peak and Women Divers, and the Manjang Cave.rnrnAlthough my children liked the Teddy Bear Museum, my husband and I thought it was pointless. We did not feel it was representative of Jeju Island.rnrnJoy was an amazing tour guide. She was kind and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed her company. She was sensitive to the needs of my elderly mother and very concerned about my husband when he cut his toe. We could not have asked for a better tour guide!rnrnHaving said all of this, in hindsight, we wish we would have simply made reservations at a resort on Jeju Island and spent two days on the beach relaxing. The tour was ok, but we felt that we drove through much of the older parts of the island that were not very attractive. We were also exhausted at the end of each day and had hoped for a more relaxing two days. This was our fault. We did not realize what the tour would be like and wished we had not booked it. We do not feel that we saw the most beautiful parts of the island. Some of the resorts are gorgeous and we would rather have gone to one of them. rnrnI hope this makes sense!rnrnKelly McDonald NLT-150625-ZJ57657

Hi Joanna,rn rnWe are back to KL safely today. On behalf of my group members, I would like to thank you for your superb arrangements on tour and meals. We all put on weight after taking all the delicious food !!rnYour guide Mr Jung is very very good. He is the best guide I have come across for all my overseas tours. He is passionate, possess good knowledge of everything and in spite of his age, he can walk faster than all of us. He took us to all corners of every destination without cutting short of any place which I am sure other younger guides may have skip some spots. We really have to salute to him.rn rnThe Godopension is a good selection by you. (NB: all rooms are with attached bathroom) We all like this place very much.rn rnYour driver is also very good and he knows the routes very well. Very punctual and helpful.rn rnOnce again, Joanna, thank you very much and hope to join your tour in the near future.rn rnBest regardsrnAnita Wong NLT-150616-ZK53131

Hi Cindy,rnI have arrived back in Tokyo.rnEverything has been very nice so far.rnI just have to tell you about my hotel rooms in general.rnWhen I arrived on the 15 and I checked in at the Shiba Park hotel, they told me "Your reservation is for a double but we don't have any of those rooms available, we can give you a big single room" so I said that would be fine as I am just one person. However, I didn't realize they put me in a smoking room. At first I thought all rooms have an ashtray because smoking is allowed almost everywhere here in Japan, but now I realize they actually have non-smoking rooms. I don't smoke, but the smell from other rooms was getting into mine. Today I checked in again at the Shiba Park hotel and this time they did put me in a bigger room with a bigger bed and it is no-smoking room. The difference is remarkable. So I just want to say that I'm disappointed that I had to spend my first three nights in Japan breathing second hand smoke, which is more damaging. There is nothing I can do about now and I just feel frustrated. I wish I would have I known better to demand what I had requested. rnI am very happy with my room this time. It doesn't smell like cigarette at all. I didn't know better the first time or I would have asked to be changed to a non-smoking room. I was naive and didn't know. rnThe room in Osaka also smell like cigarette, but they had an air purifier in my room so I kept it running all the time when I was in my room.rnKyoto also had an ashtray in the room, but again I thought "maybe this is the way all hotels are because almost everybody smokes here". I also kept the air conditioning on to make the smell go away.rnI did the same thing in Fuji, just kept the air conditioning running and I opened the window too.rnNo complains in Takayama. They gave me a non-smoking room.rnIn general my rooms have been nice and clean. It's just that I wish I would have known better to make sure I was always put in a non-smoking room.rnBreathing second hand smoke is very damaging to one's health.rnrnI feel so bad this happened. Lack of experience :(rnrnrnSent from my iPhone NLT-150509-VJ58250

Dear Joanna, rnrnThank you for organising a wonderful holiday for us. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the sights, learning about the history of South Korea and eating delicious Korean food.rnrnAll of the guides were excellent, and each had their own strengths. Mr Lee (Day 1 & 2, Airport transfer and Suwon Tour) had great local knowledge. From the moment he picked us up at the airport he was sharing information on what to see and do while in Seoul. Jeff (Day 3, Seoul tour) was eager to show us the sights and be our personal photographer. Joy (Jeju Island) was friendly, helpful and encouraged us to climb mountains as she knew it would be worth the effort. Despite having such a large group she took the time to talk to each of her guests, making them feel welcome and catering to their needs. Mrs Kim (Busan and Gyeongju) was kind and willing to make adjustments to the schedule when requested or if she saw something that would interest us.rnrnWe liked the variation of group sizes also, with some days just us and others in a larger group, this really helped to make each day different from the last.rnrnThank you for organising all of our transfers, even these people seemed to go above and beyond to share their knowledge of Korea and history with us in the little time we spent with them.rnrnThe accommodation throughout our stay was incredible. The service was excellent and all of the staff had at least a basic grasp of English which was extremely helpful. The rooms were all immaculate and far more luxurious than we would have expected.rnrnWe had a fantastic time in South Korea and will definitely be looking at Novaland for our next holiday in Asia. We will be recommending you to anyone else that is travelling throughout Asia in the future.rn rnThanks again,rnAshley & Hayley Boardman NLT-150412-ZJ54675
