Tina, sorry for the delay but the 17 days on the return cruise left us without a good option for doing email (without high charges). So, we have been home for one week and now catching up with important email.....such as with you. We value the arrangements that you made for us. Charlie was an excellent tour guide and driver. I especially liked the idea that there was another person along who could converse in English (she was from Brazil and good in English). The hotels were fine and represented good choices. The hotel in Daegu was much more convenient than the first suggestion. I recommend it to you. Jung Chung-IL and the drivers: the tour company president and the next day his brother, were fine and did their best to give us a safe and pleasant tour experience. Jung was very well informed and taught us a lot. His English was good enough but we had to work as going slowly and clearly as well. Maybe within the next few years we would like to see parts of Thailand, Vietnam and China. Would certainly expect to see something of Hong Kong as well as where you are located. Then perhaps to Shandong Province to see where my Great Grandfather's sister was a missionary for 20 years. All the best, Donald Little

Hi Joanna, We are back to KL safely today. On behalf of my group members, I would like to thank you for your superb arrangements on tour and meals. We all put on weight after taking all the delicious food !! Your guide Mr Jung is very very good. He is the best guide I have come across for all my overseas tours. He is passionate, possess good knowledge of everything and in spite of his age, he can walk faster than all of us. He took us to all corners of every destination without cutting short of any place which I am sure other younger guides may have skip some spots. We really have to salute to him. The Godopension is a good selection by you. (NB: all rooms are with attached bathroom) We all like this place very much. Your driver is also very good and he knows the routes very well. Very punctual and helpful. Once again, Joanna, thank you very much and hope to join your tour in the near future. Best regards Anita Wong

Hi Lillian. Thanks to you, for your patience and your expertise, our visit to Korea was very pleasant. The tour guides, drivers, the agent in Seoul office (I am sorry I forgot her name) were wonderful and very attentive. Only one "very minor" issue was the tour guide that I had could not tell me much about the places that we visited.....or may be there was not much to tell?! Other than that, he was great. I give a thumb up for everyone and will definitely recommend you and Novaland Tours to all my friends and will again seek for your assistant on my next trip to Asia. Sincerely, Natalie Phuong

Hi Lillian, Have only just returned from our holiday. Many thanks for all your arrangements. They worked very well and we did enjoy ourselves and felt we saw a lot of Seoul. The Korean dinner and show were most enjoyable, Might I suggest that you let future people know that you have to sit on the floor for the meal, my husband has had a hip done and he felt a little uncomfortable, had to keep moving around. The food was very good but it would have been nicer if the lovely waitress could have spoken english and let us know just what we were eating. The Hotel Sunbee was in an excellent position and very handy to everything. The tour guides were all good and spoke reasonable english and made sure we didn't miss out on anything. All pickups were on time and we never had to worry about anything All in all Lilllian you did an excellent job and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending your services to anyone I know who wishes to visit Korea or the Asian countries. The Nanta show was most enjoyable, we had never heard of it before and would never have thought of going to it without you to advise us. Lillian again many thanks Val & Barry Simmonds

Dear Tina, Thank you so much for all your help. We had a great time in Korea. The hotels in Busan and Jeju were really nice. Eventhough the Pacific Hotel in Seoul is not as nice as the other two, the room and bed were small, but the location was awesome. Our tour guides were excellent. Mr. Lee Chul Kyun in Seoul was so caring and nice. He took good care of my 80 years old mom. I booked the Nanta show, he even walked me to the theater making sure that I know my way there and back to the hotel. My mom and I were so touch by his thoughtfulness. Ms. Suh, Hyang Kyung in Busan was awesome too. She is very patient, kind and cheerful. Ms. Rachel from Yeha big group tour in Jeju was excellent also. All the drivers were careful and nice . Novaland makes us feel like VIP guests. Thanks for making our trip an unforgettable. I sure will recommend Novaland to friends and family.

The guide was good and he showed me the Canadian and Australian monuments. We drove around the area and I got a good overall impression of the battlefield. But my map was not good enough to identify the exact locations of the Australian forces. Tommy tried to be helpful but he is not a military specialist. I am not complaining. Now I have a good military map from the Australian Embassy so I want to go back again to Gapyeoung. Bob Muirhead

Hi Joanna, I am so sorry for the delayed response...but it was difficult for me to write you until I arrived back home. I wanted to let you know that we thought Mr. Young was great. He was waiting for us at the dock with a car and driver. Mr. Young had a wonderful attitude and was anxious to please. He was able to add the changing of the guard at the palace to the tour and we arrived there just in time. We went to all the markets that we wanted to see and as a bonus bought us the most delicious street food. He knew everything about the area and was more that willing to share interesting history. When we left Seoul we were sad that we only had one day to visit. When we arrived back in Incheon he also gave us a tour and since we had some time before the ship left he took us to Chinatown and we had "black noodles" (delicious) I would highly recommend Mr. Young.....he was fun, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. He made our visit to Seoul one of the highlights of our Asian trip. Thank you for choosing Mr Young as our guide. Sincerely, Anne Greene USA

Tina, Suzanne and I enjoyed our trip. Charlie was a wonderful guide. His English was very good, and he's a terrific driver. He was very knowledgable. If he didn't know the answer to a question, he always found out. Charlie was very polite and helpful, and he played a big role in our having such an enjoyable vacation. Thank you for making all of the arrangements for us. Diane Burrowes

Hi Joanna, We finally arrived home this morning after an amazing, wonderful trip. We enjoyed our stay in Busan and we were pleased that we found places to eat on our own but we had our son with us who had been in Korea for 1.5 years so that really helped. Other than some of the outlets not working, the Toyoko Inn was fine. I wasn't complaining about the itinerary, but for future clients (especially Americans) you should mention the lack of handicapped access in most places in Korea. It was the great quantity of giant, stone stairs that I was really talking about. They were difficult for most of us but I was very proud that I was able to do almost everything. The only things I skipped were the climb to Sunrise Mountain on Jeju Island and the tunnel in the DMZ. To understand my success, one year ago I weighed 186 kg and when we left for our trip I weighed 120 kg. My family is very impressed by the activities I was able to participate in. The best parts of the trip happened by accident: We arrived on Jeju on the last day of the Fire Festival where they set a mountain on fire and there are fireworks and many activities set up. We took a free shuttle bus and had a wonderful time. At the Suwon village they cancelled a mock wedding ceremony due to weather and just as we were about to leave they decided to go through with it. The only time food presented a problem was on the city tour of Seoul. We went to a restaurant that served spicy bean curd soup so we had no meat since they only served pork (this only bothered my son since bean curd and egg were OK with my wife and me). The real problem was the spicy part. We got it and could not eat it due to the spice content (and we had already been in Korea for a long time). We asked for another bowl and it was slightly less spicy but not by much. My son loves Korean spicy food and he said even his was too spicy. We ate what we could but were not happy. Our guides were great, especially Joy (Joi?) and Chul. It was a wonderful time and I took over 1300 photos and videos. My wife and I agree that we will give Novaland 5 stars on Tripadvisor. Thank you for everything you did for us and we will be sure to contact you when we go to Asia again. Larry Cohan
