Hello Alice! We have returned from our wonderful trip to Korea and I wanted to thank you so much for your assistance in helping us plan our trip!
Iknow reviews are very important and so wanted to give some feedback on somethings. First of all my family really enjoyed the itinerary that you setup for us! It was a great combination of everything from site seeing toactivities, etc. We loved everything and it was a great amount of things,so we felt like we really got to use our short time there to the best waypossible!!! Thank you so much for that and of course for your patience andkindness with dealing with my countless questions and emails. We willdefinitely be seeking your assistance again in the future.
Thenext is the hotels. We really enjoyed the center mark hotel! It was in agreat location and the hotel itself was clean and staff helpful. Thecrown harbor hotel was a little older but still a great hotel. Our onlyissue was the location, wasn't really close walking distance for my parents whowere a little older but thanks to your upgrade of private tours it was notreally an issue. Just wanted to mention for future patrons.
Theonly other issue was the taxis. Thank you so much for including ourhotels in English and Korean! Our only problem was we asked several taxis inBusan and Seoul and had difficulty and resistance, so in Busan when we arrivedwe ended up walking to our hotel. And in Seoul we took the subway. Just wanted to mention so that others are aware especially when you've had along day and have luggage and older travelers. Again thank you though foryour assistance in trying to make it easier for us.
Theother issue was the pocket Wi-Fi. Almost every day we seemed to run outof data, which was weird because we didn't use it nearly as much as in Japanand never had an issue there, so was unsure why we were having so muchissues. But it was okay.
I'msorry I had to mention those things but hope that maybe it will help others.
Nowto the 2 tour guides we had in Seoul and Busan. They were both so amazingand was the perfect guides for my family. Joan and Jade both made us feelcomfortable and by the end of our trip we felt they were family taking usaround. Joan was so funny and really tried to help us when we lost ourcamera. You can see she loves talking to people and had such a bigheart. Jade was also so friendly and made us feel so comfortable. He added extra sites in between and we loved them all. They wereboth so knowledgeable in their city and history and so patient with us. They both never made us feel like we needed to rush and was still great atkeeping us at a good pace so that we can do everything. They really tookcare of us and made sure we were always comfortable. They are suchawesome tour guides and already said we will recommend them for future visitorsof our friends and family. I just wanted to make sure I give them thepraise that the deserve!!!! Amazing amazing guides but more importantlypeople.
You three have helpedmake my family's vacation so wonderful and memorable, and we really appreciateit all!!! Thank you again for everything
Thank you! Mr. Fujii was very nice and accommodated our requests. My niece wanted to see the Harajuku area so we did that instead of going to Meiji shrine, and he gave us a little time to shop at some of the markets. The restaurant he took us to was very good and something we had never had before so that was a special treat. We're looking forward to our trip to Mt. Fuji today.

I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time inJapan and Korea! The hotels were great, especially the The Royal ParkHotel Shiodome in Tokyo. That one was our favorite. The tour guideswere very nice, informative, and helpful. Mr. Youn in Seoul went out ofhis way to show us Seoul at night and take us to a restaurant we never wouldhave found. I think that was one of our favorite meals on the wholetrip.
The only glitch was with the pick up at Narita airport. We were hoping the driver wasmonitoring our flight arrival times because we ended up arriving almost 40minutes early. The driver didn't speak English at all so when Icalled to find out when he was coming, he couldn't respond and then he didn't answer my calls when Icalled again (I had found an airport employee who could translate forme). We waited about an hour for the driver to arrive, and then hedidn't seem to know where the hotel was located. The original driverswitched places with the man who came into the airport to get us, and that guyalmost drove right through the toll booth gate and couldn't figure out how tooperate the vehicle. Fortunately the original driver got back into thedriver's seat. It was a rough start and made me question how the rest ofthe trip would be. Since the driver couldn't communicate with us, we hadno idea where the tour guide would meet us. The lobby at the Shiodomehotel was on the 24th floor so we came downstairs to the car around 8:45 and must have just missed thetour guide. Once that was all cleared up, the rest of the trip went verysmoothly. But I will say that I was getting very nervous about mychoice. My mother was very unsettled at the beginning too, which made meeven more nervous!
The other drivers/tour guides in Korea were extremely prompt, werewaiting for us at the airport and train station, and knew exactly where ourhotels were. They were on time and waiting for us in the lobbies andadjusted the schedules to suit our wants and needs. Overall, the trip wasfantastic. My mother commented last night that she had so much fun on thetrip, despite being so tired everyday. Thank you for organizingeverything for us. We had a great time!

Sorry it took so long to do evaluation. Wehad a fantastic time. Everything was fantastic. Everything is a 5 except Hotelcomfort 4. Only issue is that Japanese beds are very firm which I finduncomfortable. Obviously not something you could control.

The hotel in Kyoto was very old and the rooms were smelly despite being non-smoke. We even asked to be changed and the smell continued.

Yes, but at some point it was too much of temples and sightseen towers, we think we could have include other activities.
Fukuoka and Nagoya could have been skipped and maybe spend one more night in Hakone and Kyoto.

So we first went to rent a wifi device 10-15 minutes later, I went back to the entrance part and we met there. When we arrived at the hotel, he made a mistake and mistook another building as Shiba Park Hotel. It was a bit embarrassing since we actually entered the wrong building. There was also a bit of communication problem because he didn't speak much English. Eventually we found Shiba Park Hotel, which was at the back of the building we entered. It was okay, he really did apologise. Of course it would be better if these didn't happen, but all of these are just minor things. We actually feel thankful for his service. | |
