Thanks for you help with the trip, I have return the wifi box in the post as requested.

 

Here is some feedback on the trip

 

Pickup very smooth, driver could not find the hotel and this took some time.

First hotel good location, and good hotel.

 

Guide for the first days tour, she has ok, to flexible to requests.  She stated that the topur organizer had specified which park we should be taken to.  The park was 50 minutes away, and once we got there we were told we only had 90 minutes to stay so we should get the train around the park.  With retrospect a park closer to where we were staying would have been better, because we spent over 2 hours getting to and from this park, which was wasted time.  Also the tour guide did not have a phone so could not look up train times etc. so we spent a lot of time getting the right tickets and trains because she had to keep checking.  Afternoon was smoother once we returned to the city centre.

 

Mount Fuji tour was good, and transfer to the hotel was smooth.

 

Bullet train very easy and most enjoyable.

 

The cherry blossom tour in Kyoto was very good.

 

The full day tour of Kyoto was very bad.  We spend 2 hours picking up people then went to the first location for 20 minutes only, which was only a 30 minute walk from our hotel.  There we went to 3 other locations, all very busy, and with 58 people on the tour again we spent more time on the bus that at any of the attractions.  The lunch was the worst part.  We arrived, the food was average, it took 20 minutes to get any food, and then we had 10 minutes to eat before getting back on the bus.  The tour leader was in my opinion poor.  We then left the tour as did half of the other people, the afternoon covered 2 of the same attractions as the blossom tour.  I would recommend you don’t use this tour again.

 

Rest of the trip was good.

 

Airport return we were dropped off at the wrong terminally and had to make our own way across the airport, we have plenty of time, but this is not what I expected in a airport transfer.

 

Overall a good trip.

Hi Doris,

 

Thank you for all the updates. Sorry that I didn’t response because I was busy with the kids during the trip. Since my husband got all the contacts and updates through the tour guide via WeChat, so I didn’t bother to check the emails.

 

Kyoto tour guide is fine as she was very helpful throughout the trip. I did made a mistake to stop at Kyoto instead of Osaka directly from Odawara because my husband and some of our tour members didn’t like to go to the tourist spot. So we have wasted the travelling time from Kyoto to Osaka.

 

Nevertheless, we have a great time in USJ and too bad that our schedule is tight. If not, I would like to spend more time in Hakone because the place is really beautiful.

 

Thank you very much. I would definitely plan another trip with you guys again.

 

Please send my regards to our tour guides and drivers in Japan and tell them that they are awesome!

Many thanks foryour email. My whole family and I had a fantastic day with BK, visiting the twopalaces, the secret garden, the folk museum and the Bukhon village. BK is aterrific tour guide and driver. BK was very attentive to my parents especially,as well as to me and my sister. We liked the places we visited and BK offeredreally interesting information about the places we visited and about SouthKorea in general. The pace of the tour and the amount of walking is just right.

The Seoul tourwas absolutely terrific. BK was an absolutely top-notch tour guide and driver.He is a really experienced tour guide and was very attentive to myparents, my sister and I. He managed our itinerary and dietary requirementsvery well. Jin in Jeju was also very good indeed.

Dear Emma,

First we wanted to thank you for the great trip we had in China! We had zero problems with the trip and everything went smoothly. 

However, we did want to share a specific experience that disturbed our last part of the trip - our guide in Beijing (Tom). We had two full days in Beijing with Tom and everything was going according to plan. On the second day of the trip (13/2/2018) he informed us that we have a relatively short schedule and that we are expected to finish at about 1:30 PM. We asked Tom about touring the Hutong and he mentioned that it would be with an additional cost since it is not part of the original tour plan (which we understood and was OK with us) and we told him that we need to discuss it before we decide. 

During the day - we decided that we would prefer spending the afternoon on our own and let Tom know that we would go independently to the Hutong, and asked if the driver could place us there at the end of the tour (1:30 PM). Once he understood that we would not like to hire him to spend the afternoon with us - he became very angry with us, started walking very very fast and ahead of us (we were still on our original tour plan for the day and we had to walk very fast to keep up with him!) and if we dared to ask a question he would interrupt us in the middle and answer very fast and angrily. 
This behavior remained until the end of the day and was very very unprofessional of him in our opinion.

We are not required to hire him for the rest of our time in Beijing and the fact that he behaved so rudely to us was very not pleasant (especially for my parents who are over 60 and did not understand why he is being so rude). He did ask the driver to take us to Hutong instead of the hotel as we requested but he gave us a very bad feeling since the moment we said we would tour the area alone. 

The following day he picked us to the airport from the hotel and again - he was very silent, spoke with the driver in Chinese throughout the whole way to the airport and still behaved as if he was angry. Even when we gave him a tip at the end -- he did not say anything! Not even thank you. 

I am writing this to you because I know (from this trip and our previous trip with you to South Korea) that you are a premium company that only works with the best, and we felt that you would like to know what happened with him. It was very not pleasant for me and my parents, and we felt it was very unprofessional of him.

Having said that - we had a great trip and we thank you for organizing it for us.

Yes the WiFi is helping us. The hotel is better located than the Toyoko inn but I think Park Hotel was more convenient because of its location and where Sunrise tours operates. But it’s a good way of exploring the different transportation systems here. We’re just heading back to our hotel and we’ll check the JR passes with the concierge. I will let you know if we’ve got the passes. Thank you for The heads up!

Today’s tour guide named Ayumi was great, she showed us around and was very good in showing us Tokyo. My children enjoyed wearing the Kimono and walking around town with it. There was too much walking but it was great! We run out of time going to Tokyo Metropolitan observatory. Will do this tomorrow and see the Skytree tower as well on our own. 
There’s so much to do today but since we were all tired we decided to end the day.
Today was great - and I say thank you for pairing us with such wonderful tour guide. Hope the next one is equally good or better                                   </section>
